Top 5 Fall Lipsticks

Hey Everyone!,

As you can probably tell I love fall!! So I decided to do yet another fall inspired post. These are my top 5 fall lipsticks! I love changing up my makeup with the seasons, I think it keeps things fresh and exciting.

1. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the color Crush. I have mentioned this product a lot on here, it is a great color for fall. I also love how long lasting this product is.

2. Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple (035). I'm a huge fan of the lip butters as you know. They are so moisturizing, perfect for the colder weather. This color is great because it is red but it is more of a sheer red, perfect for everyday, if your'e nervous about a full on red lip.

3. Maybelline moisture whip in Nude Blush (143). Unfortunately I believe this color is discontinued however I was able to find it on ebay. This lipstick is great if you are not into reds or wine berry colors and just want a deeper pink shade. Its almost a your lips but better type of color. Its a bit on the mauve side and a great color for fall. I've been wearing it a lot lately.

4. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (01). This lipstick is one of my absolute favorites. Its a beautiful true red color. Also it smells like candy ha! Definitely a perfect red for fall!

5. I decided to include a lipgloss. Elf's glossy gloss in funky fuchsia. This color is great if you want to try out a berry without it being too much. Its a gloss so it will give you a beautiful tint of color. 

It was hard to narrow it down to 5. But I love all of these colors! What are your favorite fall lipsticks?? Let me know in the comments!

Ombre Hair Trend

So I'm finally going to do my ombre hair post. I dyed my hair about two weeks ago and have been meaning to get this up. I love the ombre trend, I think it is so pretty and great for fall. I especially love this trend when the hair is styled wavy.

The ombre trend can be subtle or more dramatic depending on your taste. I think it is something that can be tailored to the individual and looks good on everyone. 

So basically I did a lot of research on how people achieved the look on their own. I was willing to pay for a professional to do it but if I could save a little money and do it myself that would be a win, win. 

I watched a bunch of youtube videos and remembered that one of my favorite youtube beauty gurus Nicole Guerriero of NGuerriero19 had a DIY Ombre video. Seriously this video was SO helpful!!

All you need is some bleach and a tooth brush!! I'm serious!

This is the bleach I used:

The process is really simple you basically part your hair the way you normally do and use the tooth brush to paint on the highlights. Be sure to make sure they are even on both sides. You can bring the highlights up a little higher wherever you want. It was so easy to do. I wish I took photos so I could demonstrate the process. But honestly if you follow Nicole's video you will have great results. 

If your hair is really dark you may need to keep the bleach on a little longer I left mine on for about a half hour. I actually did this style to my mom, her hair was really dark so we had to repeat the process to get rid of the brassy orange. 

If your hair is not that dark on top but you would like it to be you could use a regular brown dye and touch up your roots (thats what Nicole does in the video).

I love Fall (tag)

1. Favorite Fall lip product?

Revlon kissable balm stain in crush. It is a deep berry wine color that is amazing for fall. I also love that it is long lasting to withstand the cooler weather. Or Revlon's lip butters. These are perfect for fall/winter because they are so hydrating and my lips tend to get chapped easily. I have a bunch but my favorites are red candy apple and creme brulee (perfect nude) . I really want to pick up red velvet. 


2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?

Hands down Essie's wicked. Its such a beautiful color and a long time favorite. (^ as an accent nail on my ring finger)


3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?
I'm pretty boring I tend to always get the same thing. So a hazelnut latte. 


4. Favorite Fall Candle?


Bath and Body Works Leaves. It  smells like fall :)

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory

Skull and rose scarf from hot topic. 


6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?
 hmm..this is tough. Haunted house :)


7. Favorite Halloween movie?


I LOVE Hocus Pocus ha. I always have to watch it around this time. But in terms of a scary movie I'd say The Skeleton Key or classics like Halloween and Friday the 13th.
8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?


I love Reeses. or Lolipops
9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?


I haven't decided yet, I'm not sure if I want to be something scary and bloody or something more pretty. Any suggestions??
10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
I love the fashion and being snuggled up in my sweats. I also love decorating and I tend to do more crafts during the fall.

MAC Saint Germain Lipstick

Hey guys,

I just wanted to do a quick little post about Mac's Saint Germain amplified creme lipstick. I know its fall and I am a HUGE fan of dark lips but I wanted to change things up and pick up a bright lipstick.

Saint Germain is a really pretty bright pink color with purple undertones. I suggest trying this color out at the MAC counter because it definitely looks different on different skin tones. Mac lipsticks smell amazing (not that this is a reason to buy them just an added bonus) Also because it is a creme lipstick it is moisturizing and doesn't looking drying or flaky like some brights or nudes can look.

ELF Disney Villains Limited Edition Collections

I recently picked up two of the three ELF limited edition Disney Villains pallettes. I didn’t get Cruella De Vil I just felt like it had a lot of neutrals and I do not need anymore neutrals lol. All of the pallettes include: a set of lashes, lash glue,8 eyeshadows, 1 eye liner,1 eyelid primer, and 2 lip and cheek products. They retail for $9.99. So lets get started the first one I grabbed is the evil queen.

The packaging is adorable!! And also includes (similar to too faced) Two look ideas with a step by step guide and picture:

The colors are really pretty and I especially love the quality of the lip liners which can also be used on the cheeks. It goes on soo smooth. Also the lashes are beautiful.

Here are some swatches:

The eyeliner is not as good as their regular liquid liner but no big deal being that, the regular one is only $1.

Next up is Maleficent:

I love how these shadows are deeper great for the colder months. And I especially love the lashes!! So dramatic and full.

The liner in this pallette is a glitter liquid liner. I think this will be great for Halloween or for nights when I want a little something special.

I think this collection is so cute!! Perfect for Halloween makeup! For the price this is a great value. I know other companys have had Disney Villains collections but none as inclusive as this.
