Hi guys!,

This is my final installment of my drugstore favorites. In this post I am going to share with you my favorite drugstore lip products! I have so many and there are a few you have seen a lot on this blog, ha! Mainly revlon products, but I am seriously a big fan of their lip products!

So lets begin:

First I thought I would share the ELF Lip Exfoliator I love using this product when my lips feel extra dry, it helps to make them nice and smooth. You can find this product at eyeslipsface.com for $3.
Next up are two of my favorite lip balms
First is the maybelline baby lips in peppermint. I didn't get a tinted one because I bought the product to use as a chapstick. Before I put on my makeup I put some of this on my lips so that my lips have some moisture before I put on any lipstick. $3-4

The other lip balm is EOS in sweet mint. I adore this product. It has a waxy feel but definitely has been a go to product while the weather gets colder. $3-4
I thought I would also include a lip pencil. I picked NYX's in natural. Its pretty standard. Besides this one I think ELF has some nice ones for an affordable price. I happen to really like the lip pencils included in the Disney Villains palettes. $2-4

I'll separate the rest by brand so first up in ELF. I love their glossy gloss in sweet salmon. It is a perfect pinky nude almost peachy lip gloss. Perfect overtop of a nude lip. $3

As I mentioned I am a big Revlon fan, so I picked three lip products for this post. First is my all time favorite nude lipstick. Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee. This is such a perfect nude it has a more brown undertone than an orange one and is super moisturizing because it is a lip butter. This is a product I would definitely repurchase. $6-8

Next is another nude. Also by Revlon it is their colorburst lipstick in soft nude. The undertone on this is slightly more orange than creme brulee. I love to pair the two together. $7-9

The last product from Revlon is of course the just bitten kissable balm stain in crush. You guys are probably sick of hearing about this one, but it truly is an absolute favorite. $7-9

Maybelline has some pretty lipsticks as well. I really love their nude nuances number 865. Its another nude, of course but this one is more on the pink side. Unfortunately the color is limited edition, you can probably find it online, on ebay maybe.

The other maybelline lipstick I picked is 140 fuchsia fever. This is a bright pink color perfect for a bold lip. $6-8

Another lipstick I have mentioned on this blog is Rimmel London's Lasting finish by Kate Moss in 01. This color is the perfect true red color. It is certainly my go to red. $4-6

The last product I want to mention is sort of an honorable mention because I am not sure it counts as drugstore. It is Avon's glazewear liquid lip color in real red. My best friend gave it to me a while back and I love it! It is a rich red almost gloss but definitely more opaque. I had trouble finding it on the avon website I think they may have changed the packaging but I did see it on amazon for around $3. I would check with your local avon rep. or try the website you may have better luck.

Well there you have it my favorite drugstore lip products! It was so much fun going through all my makeup and choosing favorites!

Hope you all have a great day!

Top 5 Fall Lipsticks

Hey Everyone!,

As you can probably tell I love fall!! So I decided to do yet another fall inspired post. These are my top 5 fall lipsticks! I love changing up my makeup with the seasons, I think it keeps things fresh and exciting.
1. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the color Crush. I have mentioned this product a lot on here, it is a great color for fall. I also love how long lasting this product is.
2. Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple (035). I'm a huge fan of the lip butters as you know. They are so moisturizing, perfect for the colder weather. This color is great because it is red but it is more of a sheer red, perfect for everyday, if your'e nervous about a full on red lip.
3. Maybelline moisture whip in Nude Blush (143). Unfortunately I believe this color is discontinued however I was able to find it on ebay. This lipstick is great if you are not into reds or wine berry colors and just want a deeper pink shade. Its almost a your lips but better type of color. Its a bit on the mauve side and a great color for fall. I've been wearing it a lot lately.
4. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (01). This lipstick is one of my absolute favorites. Its a beautiful true red color. Also it smells like candy ha! Definitely a perfect red for fall!
5. I decided to include a lipgloss. Elf's glossy gloss in funky fuchsia. This color is great if you want to try out a berry without it being too much. Its a gloss so it will give you a beautiful tint of color.

It was hard to narrow it down to 5. But I love all of these colors! What are your favorite fall lipsticks?? Let me know in the comments!

LIPSTICK COLLECTION/HAUL

Hi guys today Pepp and I went to CVS and I picked up four new lipsticks. I purchased two new revlon lip butters in creamsicle and tutti frutti, revlon colorburst lipstick in soft nude, and rimmel lasting finish by kate 01. I originally only went to the store for the lip butter tutti frutti but as usual ended up with more.

So I thought I would show you guys my lipstick collection, I only have 10 which seems so little compared to all the people on youtube or with beauty blogs but I think I have a nice range of colors and to be honest I typically wear gloss more, but recently  I have been wearing lipstick more.
Here are some swatches of all the lipsticks
Another swatch with all the names listed.
My lipstick collection! Let me know if you have any questions.
Just to add I think my favorites for spring/summer will be: tutti frutti which is a really pretty coral, soft nude, creamsicle which is a more peachy nude color, cotton candy (a rosy pink color) and kate moss’ red rimmel lipstick ( a true red).

DARK LIPS TREND!

I don’t know about you guys but I have totally gotten into the dark lip trend for the fall/winter months. I have always been hesitant about dark lips but I recently decided to go for it!
I know that they can be a bit dramatic so you may want to try it out at home or in the store first.
Personally I decided to pick up a cheaper brand first just to try it out and see how the color looks on me. I choose NYC’s mahogany lipstick which is only 99 cents so I figured it was worth a try.
*apologies for the poor picture quality I’m in between apartments and don’t have my camera cord to connect to my computer yet.*
Anyways the color is sort of a deep wine with a brown undertone. The quality is decent for a dollar lipstick. It really was a stepping stone for me to get used to dark lips and try a more expensive brand.
So for Christmas Pepp bought me MAC’s Hang Up lipstick:
Hang up has a more red undertone where mahogany is brown. Mahogany is definitely more sheer and hang up is way more pigmented. Overall Hangup is better quality and can be dabbed on for a pretty pop of color or built upon for a dark dramatic lip. I also found hang up to be more moisturizing.
If you don’t want to spend the money for a MAC lipstick I suggest trying NYC’s mahogany it is a pretty color at a great price.
And if you are really into dark lips go for MAC’s Hang up you won’t be dissapointed!
A quick tip: When a applying a dark shade it is always best to line your lips so you don’t have any rough edges and your lipstick looks flawless. If you don’t have a lip liner no problem! Use a lip brush and the lipstick you are applying to line the lips and then add your lipstick. It will definitely look better than just applying the lipstick all over. Add gloss for a little shine if you like!
